Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G: A Cunning Mobile Phone
The Fan Edition, or FE, will often have key features of the Galaxy S series at a fair price. In other words, Samsung has features that the majority of fans desire in their phone.
Samsung has placed a strong emphasis on the display, camera, and performance of the New Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G. I've been using the gadget as my primary tool for a time now. Let's find out in this review whether this phone is worth your money and if there is indeed a tradeoff.
Design:
Even though the S21 FE has a contour-cut camera module, it resembles the Galaxy S21 just somewhat. The display is flat, has a thin metal frame, and the plastic back smoothly blends into a camera island. The camera is encased in plastic. The back is made of plastic and has a smooth matte finish feel. It doesn't feel cheap, but it also doesn't attract smudges. It should be noted that you do not get a protective case out of the box, and because of the slick back, using protection is advised. The new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available in a variety of stylish colors, including White, Lavender, Graphite, and Olive, and is made for lovers of all stripes. Regarding button arrangement, the smartphone's right edge has the volume rockers and the power button, while the left side is vacant. The bottom of the phone has the USB Type-C connector, the main microphone, the speaker grille, and the Hybrid Dual SIM slot.
Although the antenna bands are visible, they don't detract from the smartphone's looks. In a similar vein, this smartphone's build quality is excellent. It is well-made and does provide a premium in-hand feel, both of which are positive attributes. The S21 FE has received the same IP68 certification as the rest of the S21 series, indicating that it is resistant to dust and water.
Display:
The 6.4-inch FULL HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display on the New Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a punch-hole in the middle for the 32MP front camera. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus shields the display. The S21 FE features uniformly thin bezels on all sides, in contrast to the S20FE. Moving on, there is no support for the adaptive refresh rate; instead, you may set the display to a 60Hz refresh rate (Standard) or a 120Hz refresh rate (High). You may choose from a variety of display options offered by OneUI based on your preferences.
Performance:
The Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 2100 5nm EUV CPU within the Galaxy S21 FE is combined with three different RAM configurations: internal 128GB and 6GB RAM, internal 128GB and 8GB RAM, and (internal 256GB and 8GB RAM).
In terms of performance in the real world, the Exynos 2100 5nm CPU easily completes practically any work that is thrown at it. The new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G performed well throughout my usage, which included continuous browsing, switching between apps, and watching HQ YouTube videos. Casual games performed as predicted in terms of GPU performance. Similar to this, graphically demanding titles like Modern Combat 5 eSport FPS and Call of Duty Mobile often functioned well at high visual settings.
Camera:
It seems Samsung has chosen to use the S20FE's camera, which is not a terrible choice. Similar to the S21, the S21 FE is contained in a module and features three cameras mounted vertically on the rear. A 12MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 3X optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture make up the triple camera configuration.
The field of vision for the main 12MP camera is 79 degrees, for the telephoto lens it is 32 degrees, and for the ultra-wide-angle lens, it is 123 degrees. The camera app on other Samsung phones is fairly similar. The 12MP main sensor produces excellent results with well-balanced colors when used in daylight. Images in low light have improved with S20FE. Rich features, strong color saturation, and realistic exposure characterize the image. The picture is brightened and noise levels are substantially reduced in the Night Mode. The 32MP camera is superb at taking nice selfies. Due to OIS on both main and ultra-wide-angle lenses, the video quality is excellent, and stabilization performs as anticipated. Additionally, Super Steady (which supports resolutions up to 1080 at 30 frames per second) may be used for even steady video overall.
